I upgraded YaBB (the software that runs forums.dee-nee.com) to service pack 1.1 - most changes are trivial, but you may see some speed boosts....
After being away from the site for awhile, and coming back to take a look at the FFL forum...I have definitely noticed a speed boost, no question. Both in bringing up the the topic-list pages, and the actual posts on a specific topic.
Time now to see the post ability...
The seconds to wait after the "Post" button has been pushed is not bad at all either. Somewhere in the middle of the processor and software upgrade, the forums have definitely become much quicker.
It's all about triple-posting on the same subject. Anyways, the processor for sure has something to do with it, as the rest of the dee-nee.com site comes up a lot faster.
