I bunted down the third base line, the pitcher and third baseman charged it, but the third baseman had doned an bop. The ball stopped right by third base; the pitcher was to the right and the third baseman to the left. The best way to explain it is that neither one could decide which one should get the ball. They went back and forth toward the ball kinda quickly. Santiago scored. Anybody else have this one happen - the ball stuck between two fielders?
i realize you have probably not yet complied with my first command but there are no "error"s here. we deal in bops.
Dvldog,
doveRBI is referring to a term in Gantry's RBI glossary on the main part of the site:
BOP - A grounding or fielding error initiated by the computer, where the ball bounces off your player and he briefly changes into a constipated moron. It does not include user-created fielding errors, such as misplaying a flyball or throwing to the wrong base. The sound created by a BOP is the single most annoying sound on the planet and has been used in Alabama as an alternative to chemotherapy. Known to some on the east coast as Japanese Rice. Other player-invented terms are boinks and blings...
As for your glitch, I've never seen that, and I've played a lot of games against the computer. Amazing how much we can still learn about a 15+ year old game.
I suppose maybe what you saw would not be under the bop heading. I was too drunk to actually read what you wrote... I just saw the word error and flew into a frenzy. You will learn that that is pretty normal for me.
2 more questions about this glitch and what you had "doned" to produce it. first of all you said that you bunted. did you do that on purpose? if so are you retarded? also, you said that santiago scored. that guy is so freaking ugly i would have run away from the ball if he was rounding third too. for more on this see "all-ugly team" (though he has nothing on willie mcgee)
