Title: Speaking of no-no's . . .
Post by: jaylums on 11/26/03, 06:35:11 PM
What's the most strikeouts against a human player anyone had?  It's probably a much tougher thing to do with straight-pitch.  If memory serves, I reached 15 to 16 back in the day, normally with either Doc or the Rocket.  20 of course was the eternal bench mark which constantly eluded me.

I myself was K'ed 26 times in an epic 18 inning game with a friend of mine once....

It was curve style...but by the twelfth we were out of pitchers, and our last guys were pretty juiced...and damned if I didnt get trigger finger on balls just out of my bats reach probably six times until the end of the game....

And yeah....I did win....on a Jim Rice homer

Hey cmon give me a break.....

Even a juiced pitcher can get the ball just out of the bats reach barely....and when you have a guy throwing 35-40 MPH right off the edge, just try and not swing....
