Outfielders, the final stretch of this project... before I post all of the results, of course.

It's definitely a two-horse race between Rice and Gibson.  My votes for Gibson because he's the best all-around player in RBI....

Somebody voted for Vince Coleman?

It has to be Rice, he's a stud.
Hmm someone voted for Gladden?  Whenever someone makes fun of him one of us always replies "he has homerun power" in a really sarcastic voice.  I don't know why, we just do.  Kind of like how everytime Dykstra comes up we say he is due for a HR.  Just weird comments that stick and get repeated, I guess.

Again, Gantry already said it all.  Gibby.

Every time my buddy or I hit a homer with the brother of Debbie Gibson we have to get up and reenact his celebration in 88 while he was coming into second and rounding it.  Some of the best fist pumps ever, even though I hate the Dodgers.

Ummm, Gibson in a landslide.

I think this might be the closest race of all the polls, as the poll would suggest.

I'll take responsibility for half of the Coleman votes (at the moment, there are 2) - in my younger days, St. Louis was my team of choice, and when you don't know how to make fast throws, Coleman is a huuge weapon.  He's always been one of my favorite players, because I'm a fan of small-ball.  My apologies for any heresy that has occurred in this post.

A Coleman vote really isn't all that bad if you know how to play smallball like Beefer said.  The guy runs circles around people and generally wreaks havoc on opposing players.  He's like Rickey in his prime.  Everyone knew if he got on base it would be at least a double.  Hooray for St Louie.

I just wanted it to be known that dvldog is probably the most prolific poster ever.  He's already over 200.  I post a bunch but The Dog is taking it to a whole new level.

No, this is you in nutshell.  "Help, I'm in nutshell.  How did I get into this nutshell?"

Kimmy Gibbler has it all...a great bat and good speed.  That fucker rounds first like a goddamn cheetah.  He's basically Tommy Himm with power.

BTW, Coleman is a stud when playing small ball....which in my opinion is the only way to play when you're StL.

Anyone that could hit 6 HRs in a single game for me, gets the nod.  Gibson has some mad homer power.

I can't bring myself to vote for Gibson.....

Gibson = Speed and Power... Not to mention a decent wide receiver to boot.

That's pretty much all I have to say.  I have to give credit to Rice too, even though I have seen him go through the occasional power outage.

fknmclane, I'm glad to see someone else do the fist pump when Gibson homers.  I thought we were the only ones

Dude, there's no other choice.  Occasionally he'll win a game with a bomb and then it's the whole fucking production.
