Recap
VGP100 might be unstoppable when facing elimination.

Darrel Evans had a 2-run double in the first and scored on a triple.  Thompson led off the 2nd with a triple only to be gunned at the plate when he tagged-up on a weak fly by Gooden.  Davis came through with an RBI double, to make it 4-1, and scored on the next pitch, an RBI-triple.  Evans then came through with an RBI-double, and scored on a double, to make it 7-1.  The next pitch left the yard for a 2-run shot by Schofield.

After a one-run third by GD, Strawberry added a 2-out, 2-rbi triple to make it 11-2.

Gaetti then led off the bottom half with a solo shot, but it was the only run of the inning again.

Pendlesack led off the 4th by ripping one to right for a double, and Schofield followed with a triple, making it 12-3 with a runner on third for Boone, who sac-flied Schofield in ? 13-3, 10 runs, but they had to hold it.

Laudner inched out a triple to lead off the fourth, and scored on a McGee single.  That prompted a Henderson sub for Clemens; Henderson drilled one right to the left-fielder.  With two out, Leonard hit an RBI double, to make it 13-5.

Pendleton rifled one to the thirdbasemen, who then threw the ball at the dugout, allowing a run to score and the inning to continue.  Schofield then hit his second 2-run homer of the game, to make it 17-5.  Boone kept the inning alive, for Robbie Thompson, who hit a 2-run shot ? a definite sign to pull the pitcher, but he stayed in and finally recorded the third out.

GDavis led off the fifth with a single, which was followed up by another single; first and second.  After a Laudner pop-up, McGee launched one into the stands to make it 19-8.  Needing 2 runs to keep the game alive, Trammel ended it with a groundout to third.  A short game with a long recap.
