All I have to say is Kirk Gibson is the man in world series games. 3 Bombs followed by fist pumps in this one. Witt was exceptional in relief going 5 strong to finish the game and earn the win. Beefmaster's defense was atrocious. They can get it done in the regular season, but the pressure of the playoffs might be too much for BM's squad.
Well, I'm a Twins and Cubs fan (grew up closest to the Twin Cities but following the Cubbies on WGN, and I now live in MN), so I'm hoping one's good karma will offset the other one's poor karma.
And the game sucked. Fine time for me to lose my first home game...
