Post by: Gantry on 05/19/02, 09:35:03 PM
1) Roger Clemens gets career win #287, tying RBI Legend Bert Blyleven.
2) Julio Franco hits his first dinger of the year.
3) New Royals manager Tony Pena gets a win.

First time I've seen Sportscenter in a couple months, but RBI was everywhere...

i think it is fitting that pena gets a couple of wins vs. the tribe in cleveland...  he should have been given the job after grover left...  instead they gave it to gomer manuel... the guy is a hitting coach and nothing more...  i think TP's managerial future is very bright... the guy knows how to handle a pitching staff, even if its from the bench.
