Title: famicom ---> NES converter
Post by: TempoGL on 01/19/06, 02:54:32 AM
I'm coming up blank looking for one of these on ebay.  I am strongly considering buying the entire japanese family stadium series (these are pretty cheap on ebay, shipping is a bitch though) but my converter doesn't work well at all.  where can i find one?

Lik-Sang (http://www.lik-sang.com/) doesn't have one either, which is not a good sign.

Best I could do: Gyromite with converter (http://cgi.ebay.com/Nintendo-Game-Rare-Gyromite-Famicom-to-NES-built-in-HTF_W0QQitemZ8251748594QQcategoryZ62053QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Or you could look for one of those cartridges (http://www.neszone.net/articles/famiguide.shtml) yourself at used shops or something.

I own one of these.  i got it from a guy overseas.  i'll dig around thru my emails after work and send yah a link to his site/email.  it was like 30 bucks i believe, but it worked great.  we still use it for japan tecmo bowl.

ah yes, i forgot about that little trick.  I have almost all of those games on the list, I can sacrifice one to make a converter.  If not, i'll head to the local Game Crazy this afternoon.  solid.

if your search is fruitless in your neck of the woods, then the AD4 at the site is what your looking for.  i got mine in about a week if i remember right, maybe 10 days tops (but i doubt it was that long)

I tried to open up most of my all games and absolutely nothing.  I wouldn't waste your time opening them...
