My 2nd fave behind Nolan. Had a decent mlb career including 20 wins and an AS in '86.
Played for some shitty Cubs teams

Is also a minor leaguer on MVP '05.

Added RBI Stats, Bio and career stats.  Amazingly enough, I copy/pasted the Career stats table from the Mike Witt page (http://dee-nee.com/wiki/index.php/Mike_Witt) and these guys had incredible close career numbers.  Check their pages out, it's kinda eerir...

Looks like Krukow's most similar pitcher in baseball history is Mike Witt according to Baseball Reference, with a 961.

Maybe it is because the A's and Giants are bay area rivals but I can not stand Krukow's work with the giatns in real life.

yg.

Love Krookov!  Only when I play against Attezz with SF, he's pretty good at taking/wasting pitches against Krukow due to the awful velocity, which usually leaves him toasted pretty early in the game...  If only he had more than just the standard 40 stamina, I'd say he'd be in the elite.  I even still voted for the second option.

I also love Gantry, although I have no cute nickname for him, as yet.

I know whenever I play against Krukow my M.O. is definitely to take a lot of pitches early.  Not only does the low stamina hurt him, his curve is so ridiculous that many folks throw all sorts of late-breaking junk and tend to overdo it in terms of throwing balls.  Obviously my curve experience is limited, but when I play against folks with big curves they tend to throw more balls...

I'd say he's one of the upper-level pitchers for sure...when he's on, look out.  I agree with the masses (with or without pity or them asses), though--the way to go is definitely take take take when you're facing him!

Happy Birhtday Kruk!!!!!

Very good RBIer but a notch below top tear pitcher.

Sidenote: my brother ran into and talked to him in costco like a month ago, i was one of the ten people he called after he got out of the store.
