When I checked ESPN.com today, I saw the Minnesota Twins signed Tim Raines Jr., the son of "Rock" Raines, or Mr. I get high before baseball games. I hope he has a good career like his dad, but it's too early to tell that. :-X And I'm tempted to play the National League (and Tim Raines Sr. is very good in this game, with a 146 speed, so steal if you'd like) today to honor Raines' dad, because he is a fucking monster in this game!

He turns 27 this year and hasn't done much yet, so it's easy to tell that he won't have the career his dad had, but hopefully he'll make it back to the majors.
He was with the Orioles for quite a while, between he and Gary Matthews Junior, I'm not sure which second generation star was more of a bust.
(obviously Raines since Matthews Jr is now enjoying success in Arlington.)
Nice find Velair, made a quick RBIdb page for Raines Jr.

Of course this means I have to create a ton pages for the new 2nd Generation RBI'er category. But baby steps...
What was the fun fact with Raines & Raines Jr. on the same team? 2nd time ever after the Griffeys? Should probably be in the db
Raines Senior was only 20 when he had Raines Jr.
The Griffey's actually filled the entire M's outfield once when one of Junior's cousins (or Senior's nephews) joined them for a game.

Do some research before you go spouting off bullshit like this.
I could have sworn that I read that off a baseball card as a kid.
I'm sure that once upon a time Junior have enough range to man Center and right, and Griffeys could have manned the entire outfield in a game.
Don't believe everything you read on a card.
The 1985 Fleer Mike Stenhouse card should have proven this to everyone.
if you don't know what I mean, I'll try to find my stenhouse card and post a pic of his alleged stats.
Craig Griffey was pictured on card with Bro and Dad. I think he was also in a Score Traded set.
Yeah, but that other griffey never made it to the majors.
All three alou brothers did play games as the whole outfield a couple of times for the giants in the late 60s

93 HRs and 95 RBI?---awesome!

looks like they're missing a few seasons
I swear to god I saw that on a card, it may have been a spring training game, but I doubt that baseballcube is wrong and it's most likely just my memory fucking up.
