just one day after losing an active player... we can add tony jala-pena to the list of major league managers as the Kansas City Royals named him their new skipper today. he was the triple a manager in the astros system. congrats to TP.
Solid! The RBI law-of-averages works out... Tony has been added to the WATN page...

I saw it too, me Smith and Guzman were watching ESPN 2 just before we were about to play some RBI and at the bottom we saw it say Tony Pena Royals manager, all of us at the same time said, "hey check it out". RBI Forever.
Congrats to T. Pena!!! For another WATN, I know that a few years ago Lee Mazilli was running a baseball camp for kids. Its probably not worth adding it to the WATN section since i don't know if he's still doing it, but i thought you guys might be interested in hearing about that.
tony "the heart" pena as a manager, me and t were both very proud to hear about this on our way to last nights game....the chowds beat up on the A's again...its a great time to be a boston sports fan...speaking of which...i had the honor of serving luis "el tiante" tiant at my resturaunt the other night....he had surf and turf and said "dammit" when dropping his lobster claw...incredible humor out of the original latin terror on the mound
lee mazilli is on the watn page because he is the first base coach for the a-hole yankees.
Ah, i shoulda known being a yankees fan. I guess lack of sleep just rotted my brain today.
hey gdavis... what the hell happened to el puque yesterday... i mean it was the devil rays... they are a lousy triple a team...
Unfortunately, due to a squabble between George Steinbrenner and Cablevision, i do not get to watch any Yankee games. The only quality baseball viewing i get nowadays is when I set RBI to "watch" mode.
you should get a dish... they are cheaper than cable and they carry the YES network...
i gave up on cable years ago...plus, with the dish, you can get the extra innings package and become a total baseball crackhead.
My roomate and I were originally gonna get a dish, but it turns out our apartment comes with cable as part of its 'package'. I guess we're stuck with going to bars and being alchoholics if we want to get our baseball fix.
