Lips, Rack and I are leaving shortly for Oklahoma City, home of the 2006 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. BOOYAH!
We'll be gone until Sunday, but will pretty much have Internet for the entire trip, including the car ride....
Dee-Nee! Wanted to get the first post in the car on the website. Internet in the car is hard to use due to exessive glare. Gantry is having problems with the shakiness of his laptop screen. All-in-all it is still 803.08 miles of ass- but internet and movies on the PC makes is easier...I hope.
Time to watch Four Brothers.
Getting off 355 has dramatically reduced the shakiness, laptop car Internet is the greatest thing ever. Especially sharing Internet between two PCs.
CAN = Car Area Network
Seriously...where do you get the internet in the car?
My phone has full time Internet. I can hook it up to my laptop via USB as a modem, then use Internet Connection Sharing to give Internet to the other laptop. To top it off, we have a power inverter that lets us use our cigarette lighter as a power outlet. Greatest setup ever...
aahhh computers...what will they think of next?
What's up car dudes?? Have fun at the tourney!
This is Racktacular:
Just finished watching Four Brothers. Very solid, solid movie. Pretty funny too at certain times. Highly recommend. Big thanks goes to Lips for bringing the gigantic, over the head, professional looking headphones. My earbuds didn't block out any of the music from the radio or the talking, but Lips' mega-headphones reduced the sound to just about nothing. Dee-Nee.
I have to drive in approx. an hour. Not looking forward to it at all. Lips gets first rotation, then me, then Gantry.
That is all. Probably will watch The Last Samurai when Gantry is driving.
be safe guys and watch out for those speed traps.
what are some of the snacky foods you guys brought along for the ride? any take 5's or snickers?
Oklahoma has a zero tolerance rule for speeding. They will bust you even if you are 5 miles over, trust me I know.
Can rdub or someone else confirm tihs? OK is my leg of the drive... Not that I don't believe MikeD or anything...
55 and stay alive, natty gann.
You were Dee-Neeing from the CAN.

Mike D. is ALWAYS right. I have only been to OK twice but am 50% on tickets so far
From what I was able to find in a couple minutes, OK has a lot of those small town bull shit speed traps. The highway patrol allows the locals to control the interstate in certain areas, so they drop the speed limit 10 mph and wait to fuck you. The only time I drove through the state, all I saw were a bunch of shitty Indian reservations.
We're here, we're queer, and our $250 a night room is very unimpressive. No speeding tickets and the wireless router is hooked up. Full-time, shared internet no matter where we go...
Did you get the pic? I sent you?
Yes I did, very nice..
Whose cat is better, the one who haunts my porch or Rack's?
Gantry where are you guys siting and can you dee nee from the tourney? It's on espn now (OK St v UM).
I watched this as well.
Let me just go on record as stating that the fact that you guys go on a road trip to the wrestling championships is one of the more awesome things I've heard of. This is the kind of stuff I used to take for granted before my friends became a bunch of douchebags.
It's the highlight event of our sad, pathetic little lives. Back home now, the 9pm-9am drive last night kind of sucked, but all in all another great NCAAs. I'm very tired, as I didn't sleep untnil I got home, but I'm already prepping for next year at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Any and all Dee-Nee members are invited...
the last time i watched an amateur (real) wrestling match was when we did wrestling in jr high gym class.
