So me and Chubbs got around to playing some RBI tonight. First time in pretty much forever.
After a kickass meal of buregers, frias , beans and corn, and watching the Suns sucka donkey cokc against the Jazz, we're getting down to it.
GAME 1:

Chubbs Bo 7
Felt each other out for the first few innings then the Doctor took over. He threw 4 123 innings in a row then it got interesting. Int he bottom ofthe ninth chubbs hit 4 solo bombs but Doc induced Gedman into a game-ending dp.

Oh yeah, when i fire dup the NES it fwas making a weird sound on the tv, kinda like a drunk guy blowing into a bottle. Fucking shit won't go away, fwe can't make itstop. Not nearly as annoying as I thought.

Classic pitchers duel. Clemens and Witt going at it. Witt pitched the game of his ufcing life but ifnally gave up 2 solo bombs to gedman/armas back to bavk in the 7th.
Clemens held on for hte ocmplete game win.
Great fucking game. Me and chubbs are picking up right where we left off.

Another pithcers duel. Nando an Witt going back and forth til Nando gav up a killer 3-run bobm to Wally Joyner in the 7th. Witt and Corbett (no way I'm using Donnie fucking Moore) combined to save the vicotry.

Another pitcher's duel, my boy tuodr against Viola. Except for two solo boms to Tonyh Pnea, Viola pitched flawlesly. Tudor was even better, giving up nada in 9 innings of work. Great, great, gerat great game. Wow.

Solid recaps mclane, we need more of this on the RBI Board, especially with drunken commentary. I could literally feel you get drunker throughout the posts, like I was right there. I dont' envy you at work tomorrow...
Looks like Chubbs is knocking at the door, but needs a little pick-me-up to get to the next level. Have you introduced him to steroids yet?

Actually feeling pretty good today at work except for the bile taste in the back of my throat that just won't go away no matter how many loogies I hack up.
Chubbs came over for dinner and I told him we just had to play RBI, it had been far too long. Figured it would be fun to share the recaps.

Poor Chubbs, he was so close in every game he lost. I'm quite simply the king of clutch hitting (unless playing GDavis of course.) I think game 5 was more a function of each of us being rather tired and shitfaced than good play. Then again, I think I said I wanted to do John Tudor after putting the finishes touches on the shutout.
Also, I would like to point out this gem yet again. Chubbs laughed for a good ten minutes.
