I have a few. Nothing REALLY amazing but somewhat cool.
Today I used St. Louis in a game (I ALMOST hit a hr with Ozzie Smith, hit the top of the wall), but I ended up loading the bases later in the game, then up comes Vince Coleman. THWACK! Grand Slam.
In a 9-game "season" against the computer a few years back I hit 2 homers with Ozzie Smith.
I hit a gargantuan homerun with Mark McGwire once, The ball was still rising once the shadow cleared the top of the stands past the outfield. When it came down, it made one of those "thuds" like when you make an error or when the ball hits the wall. Then the entire left field line bleachers got all glitched, and the ball rolled all the way down from where it landed, and just sat there. I still had to run around the bases manually to get credit for it. Weird......
I hit a hr with Rafael Santana and Al Pedrique once (well Al maybe 2 times), but I've hit hr's for every non-pitcher.
This is the weirdest one. I don't remember the teams but it doesn't matter. For one inning that I was in the field, the only button I pressed was the A button. Every hitter either hit a ground ball or a fly or lineout to one of my fielders, I didn't even have to touch the control pad, heh heh.
Last night in a game where I was the National League allstars, I hit 6 homers each with Murphy and Dawson. I hit 4 consecutive with Dawson and about that for Murph, maybe 5. Shit I don't remember. I played all 9 innings, but I'd always let the computer score to erase the 10-run defecit.
There's been times where I've had 2 homers in an inning (Will Clark, Kirk Gibson), one of 'em even had 2 grand slams in one inning, it was one of these guys though. I'm sure the 2-homer inning is common to RBI'ers though.
I guess that's all I have for now.
i once hit a solo home run. it was pretty incredible
I played the drinking game using Wild Irish Rose.
One time I made a hat out of a lobster and a stick.
tards ;D
just super long homers for me.....
I once hit a bomb with Maris and the damn thing went so far into rightcenter, that you could hardly still see the lights at the bottom of the screen.....then the ball finally sorta came down(for just a second at the top of the screen), and then a second later it came down again? ??? like the dang ball get hit so far it created a glitch.
I also hit one with Mcgwire that went to str8 center and i never saw it land :o theres a lot of screeen thattaway
2 homers never dupilcated since....the Maris was with the PH powerup bonus, and im pretty certain so was the mcguire one too.
I once got an inside the park bunt HR. I know nobody here will believe me but its true.
Did you ever hit a homerun into the black box in center??
I farted really loud while playing RBI baseball
I once hit a foul ball with Rich Gedman.
just last week i got a 1,2,3 inning with clemens against Ho.
against the computer? that's tough
check out my amazing rbi feets.
Lol you guys are fucking maniacs.
I've hit a few hr into the black box. I believe it is the scoreboard support though. I don't think the stadium seats would hold a big heavy ass thing like that!
What exactly is a "screen changing homerun?" I don't think I've ever hit one because the scoreboard is always in view. That must be when the ball comes down and you see nothing but blue sky, right? I think I've been close though.
Lol in a game yesterday, I bunted with DeCinces, it was extremely slow, and the pitcher ran after it past the infield/outfield border. Then when the left fielder came into view, the pitcher backed off, and the left fielder went for it, but made an error.
There have also been times where I'd pick up a grounder, then throw it to 1st, but quickly throw the ball just as the 1B man gets it, and the hitter would be safe.
I did hit a homer with Steve Lake yesterday too. He has some power, I dunno why I said he was a terrible hitter once. He's got some pop. Maybe I only used him once or twice and he didn't do anything. He's ok.
I've also hit extremely high popups, I mean straight up, and they get that really high tone as the ball rises, but once I hit one super high, and the "rising" noise started all over again, but it was a different sound.
My most amazing feat was taking a perfect game 8 2/3 innings with Doc Gooden against Houston. JoeDirt says Chubbs sucks but he's wrong. I'm that damn good...I'm the whole f'n show.

I think Chubbs sucks at RBI. There, I said it. He's like the opponent of the Harlem Globetrotters--loses every time.
JoeDirt calling me the Harlem Globetrotters makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Wait, the thought of Kipsibobble rubbing one off to a pic of erhajj and his bunny is entering my head. HOT HOT HOT HOT!!!!
by reading these posts i believe mclanes drunk, but apparently his keyboard workin hands dont know it yet.

I'm in a happy place.
I guess I forgot one that could have been an all-time unbreakable record if I just had hit the ball with a tad more oomph......
One game with me as the Mets, In 5 different at bats using Wally Backman, I hit the very top of the RF wall each time, none of them went over for home runs though. I guess I was in a super hot groove that day for getting all that consistency. I just wish one of them would've gone over. But dammit, it could have been FIVE with one of the weakest hitters ever from that game. Five hits aren't too bad either though.
In my view, I think it is absolutely impossible to hit a homer with a pitcher. I got close about 2 times, but the balls were still short of the warning track (there isn't one but you know what I mean). The only way that I see a pitcher hit a homer is for it to go through the wall down either line.

Everyone here who claims to have seen pitcher homers has reported that they were Wallzies, like you said. Baines recently hit one with Nolan Ryan on his arcade machine (which has the same power stats for pitchers as the NES version), which is to my knowledge the only pitcher HR that occurred since I've been posting here. We also had Jimmy Key hit a ball off the base of the wall in the Fantasy RBI league, probably a half-dozen pixels from being a Wallzie - there's video evidence of that.
Bunting a inside the park homer against the computer is easy. Just get it right so their pitcher runs after it, all the way to the wall.
My amazing feat (still nobody beleives) is that I've witnessed a pitcher homerun. I don't remember the teams, I think Cox hit the homer, but its in a previous post like last June.
You all though I probably died. Some probably cheered. But I'm alive. You can now go to your corners and cry.
