An Arizona court ruled against Chili Davis in a lawsuit filed by his former lover. The woman alleged that Chili was physically abusive to her during their three-year relationship.
From the Arizona Republic article (http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/sports/articles/0407davis0407.html):
"In a lawsuit filed in 2003, Tina Placourakis claimed that Davis choked her, swung a baseball bat and drove fast to intimidate her and held broken glass and loaded firearms to her head. And once, the suit alleged, he cornered her in the shower of the Scottsdale home they shared and forced her to relinquish all interest in a Mercedes he had given her.
The jury awarded Placourakis $320,000 in compensatory and punitive damages for the assault and battery claims, and $30,000 for the automobile."
how in the world can she prove any of that?
and how many incidents do you need as a red flag to leave the situation/relationship?
apparently chili and kirby have more in common than being in a video game together.
Holy shit Chili!
I still love him. I wish he'd hold a gun to my head and whisper sweet nothings into my ear.
She probably antagonized him by insisting on calling him Charles
