Title: Bug in FS'90 editor?
Post by: AndyDeGreat on 04/18/06, 10:47:37 AM
When trying to edit FS'90 ROMs (using FireFox 1.5.0.2), I'm finding that every time I try making a change to the pitcher's generic batting data, or Batter 12:

- Batter 12's batting average and generic pitcher contact want to hold the same data
- Batter 12's home runs and generic pitcher power want to hold the same data
- Batter 12's contact and generic pitcher speed want to hold the same data

Also, when the pitcher comes to bat on a saved ROM, weird glitches happen (the display goes all weird on a foul ball and occasionally freezes, and anything hit fair is a soft pop-up to the catcher, which the pitcher doesn't run or move on).

I don't have time to look at it right now, but I'll take a look when I get home from work tonight.

The oddities between batter 12 and generic pitcher batting data should be fixed. Still looking at ROM data.

I don't know if this will help narrow down the problem but:

- uploaded RBI_League ROM, worked fine before
- downloaded as FS90, pitcher glitch happening
- uploaded FS90, see pitcher batting data has:

.150 average
0 HR
0 Contact
0 Power
0 Speed

It looks like the editor is saving zeroes to the pitcher batting data.
