So, I've been thinking....There needs to be some kind of world championship for this..contested once a year.....
I see May as a good time...but the thing is...we'd need like a four or five day weekend for every one to get to one place....

Mike Beales does a pretty good job with an all-around tourney. Last year got guys from as far away as Texas....

I was thinking we even go like this....
I figure groups of four...round robins.....in each group....for seeding....Random draw on teams...(if you get Ho....too fucking bad) a double or maybe triple elim. tourney from there on out....Kinda like hte world cup?
Oh and the groups of four...defeinitely do our best at keeping away from guys you can play any time
I live in St.Louis, and I would be ALL for driving a good distance for a good RBI tourney....if it was curve pitch, drinking rules enforced. :)

But tourney play...and drinking rules...whoah....
Drinking should be encouraged but enforcing the rules would make for a giant party instead of the crowning of world's greated RBI player.
Mike's tourneys arent drinking rules. Booze and money is a bad mix, would almost encourage people not to drink...

I could not be a part of that tourney because of 2 reasons.
1. I must drink while playing RBI. Drinking rules are essential. In fact, I prefer to actually BBQ and drink PRE game.
2. I was not clear if this tourney would be a curve or straight pitch tourney.
You make some good points. I will think about it for now.
Drinking and gambling go hand in hand for me....but thing is.....Not drinking heavily...and RBI drinking rules means drinking...very heavily

Hey I've got six people from the great city of Portsmouth, Ohio who would gladly throw in for a tourney and driving. Name the place and get info get it together I can almost guarantee that our asses would be there with our controlers, booze, and attitude for some kickin RBI.
We're not big fans of curve in Portsmouth but it sounds like there's too many RBI players in OH to not set something up. We'll have to work something out.
