Title: Nintendo
Post by: Sperling on 05/29/06, 01:28:02 PM
I keep getting outbid for one freakin' Nintendo.  I was discouraged in the past, but this week I'm paying more attention to finally bringing RBI to Iraq.  I still need to locate a RBI auction, but it seems that those are easier to find and hopefully win.

I hate auctions...

BLAST!!!!

2 total bids.  I was one, he was two.  Two wins.  DAMN IT ALL!!!  Burn in Hell!

33 seconds...33 fucking seconds.  Maybe if I didn't throw the chair with 14 seconds left I could have re-bid....

FUCK!

I was trying to justify paying more for a Nintendo.   Anyways about 10 minutes after the auction I lost, I won it.  I timed it out perfectly to 5 seconds before the auction ended.  "Take that Scott Miller!"  I'm not sure why I said that...maybe a line to Potsie?

Dee-Nee!!!  I just need to figure out how to get it to Iraq since ebay doesn't recognize the 09391 zip code.  I'm going to be bidding on RBI tonight.

There were two nintendos for sale at a local Old-School video game store a few weeks ago... how much are you willing to pay?? I didn't get the price tag...

eSnipe, eh?

Well, I won that bid.

Here's what it includes:

NES with Zapper and 2 controllers
RF adapter and AC adapter
Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt
Super Mario Bros 3
Tetris
Double Dragon
Ring King
Jeopardy! (Junior Edition)
Zelda II

Unfortunately I couldn't put my APO address in ebay, so it is shipping to you Gantry (unless the seller reads my comment saying to ship to the APO address).

I'll be bidding on other things, which will have the same result, so I'll let you know if you should expect other packages.

If you haven't given him the address, email/PM me and I'll give you my work address.  Though with Slim living at the house now someone will likely be home...

I think we'll have to put a copy of RBI and Solomon's Key in your package.  I'm not sending out the Zapper...

I've gotta get Lolo 1, 2, and 3 too.

I'm going to play Tetris enough that I'll be able to use both the A and B buttons.

I've already e-mailed the address to the dude.  I'm not sure if they'll drop it off at the door if nobody's home, but I like that Slim's probably going to be there regardless.

Slim doesn't have a job, so he ain't got shit to do...  We'll have to raid the container for a few games off the NES Victory List (http://dee-nee.com/misc/neswin.shtml), I'm thinking Fester's Quest and Pro Wrestling are good choices....

I think that I still have 2 NES decks and some controllers up in the science lab at school.  I'll double check tomorrow.  I don't know how much it costs to send it to Iraq, but you're welcome to it if the kids haven't "helped themselves."  Plus, someone's gonna have to hold me to task on this, because I offered the same thing to GDavis about 3 years ago, changed jobs, didn't Dee-Nee for months, and never did send him anything.

I won an auction for Lolo 1.  I've beaten it once, but it was a solid game.  LOOOOO-LOOOOOO!

It will be shipping to Tahoe as well.

I'd like to get 2 and 3, but there are no auctions to this point.  RBI is also not on the block, so I have to wait on that one too.

I really do not want Fester's Quest, Pro Wrestling, or should I say it (gulp) M.U.S.C.L.E. Wrestling due to the fact I have live ammuntion.  I may kill somebody or the game(s).  You thought Lipitz destroying Ghost 'n Goblins was bad?  However, if there's a place to beat them, it's here because I will be bound and determined to beat them.

I will accept any donations of NES games.  Again my address is:

I believe the price is same as any mail or package we send.  I've sold things on ebay and shipped them to APO addresses with no problem.
