About 600 posts away, doesn't look to promising to get to 10K in the next 36 hours.
We average well over 300 post per week day, we should not have a problem getting to 10K, and this would be the 12th consecutive month we did it.
10K is a lot
of posts
y
e
what?
s?
We still need 302 more posts in the next 14+ hours Kips was right we may not reach 10K, I guess our rate of posting has dropped
My fellow Dee-Nee'ers, the gauntlet has been set, our challenge is before us, these are the times that try men's souls . . .
Will we rise up?
Do it for the children - THE CHILDREN!!!
Quick! Someone bump the Chocolate City and Frank Thomas threads.

If I'm gonna get my balls blown off for a word, my word is poontang.
251 posts away, this is unacceptable. Time for a posting spree. Who is with me?
I thought that this thread was about running and that made me happy....
but then...
I discovered...
that
it...
was
not
about
10K
foot
races.
I think I have done my part.

90 minutes later, down to 112 or so. Things are looking up...
what is the forum time compared to east standard?
read: how much time do we have left?
If we don't do it, do we lose?
We have until 1am EST to accomplish our goals. At least I think that's how it works. Actually I have no idea how they do the cutoffs WRT timezones but I'm too lazy to research. 1am EST!
about 50 to go
this one's in the bag assuming Gantry doesn't fall asleep and accidently unplug Dee-Nee
about 48 left. Crunch time.
Ever since I decalred that we reach this milestone, I've accomplished nothing at work...
I'm so nervous

pretty sure you can do either one - do we need a puhl?
I prefer throw down...
10 posts left people, stop slacking! I want to close dee-nee so I can get a couple hours of real work in...
I might just start deleting old posts from this month after we hit 10K thousand, just to make Gantry cry.
4 to go. i bet gantry has a boner about now...
I just want to accomplish something today...
10k right here
WE ARE GREAT!
Thank you, good night...
actually, mine could have been either 10000 thousand, 10000 thousand 1 or 10000 thousand 2.
It doesn't matter who's post was 10,000 on the dot. We did this as a team people. Dee-nee really came together for this one.
we ran the gauntlet
if that phrase is acceptable to everyone
thats pretty impressive considering it seems topic creation has dropped off and alot of topics have sucked more balls than usual the past few months.
i think it has to do with quality of topics over quantity of topics.

this makes no sense.
I'm too late, unless the new goal is 11K, then I'm in like Flynn.
For the record, I was post #10,000 - you have to start new, fresh posts to drum up support. The Rap of the 90s + evaluate your stock team + private shaving = gold Jerry, gold!
this thread is terrible. i'm appalled at the use of one word posts simply to up post counts. this is akin to Bonds and roids. If you want to stay on the high plateau of 10K posts per month, do it by natural means.
For the record - though some people I know were using artifical means to drum up their post count, I had no knowledge it was being done myself. At the end of the day, we beat the goal by nearly 300 posts so all is well. No records were broken and therefore there is no need to investigate things any further...

aka The Sammy Sosa Defense.
My trainer made me use one word posts and I had no prior knowledge that they were one word in length. MY hat size is 9 and 3/4ths and that has nothing to do with anything.

I was told that those posts were flaxseed oil.
did you see where Pat Robertson claimed to leg press 1 ton thanks to the help of a protein shake and flaxseed oil?

What about God? Instead he goes an gives all the credit to protein shakes and flaxseed oil, hypocrite
I did see that.
WTF?
Would that be a record?
from wikipedia:
Pat Robertson's 2,000 lb. Leg-Press Claim & Limited Range Strength Training
Pat Robertson claims to have leg pressed 2,000 pounds and a later statement also claimed that his doctor was capable of a 2,700 pound leg press. Clay Travis, columnist for SPiN/CBS Sportsline's ClayNation, stated that Pat Robertson would have broken the Flordia State University's record in the leg press by 665 pounds (the record is 1,335 by Dan Kendra of FSU).
However, an AskMen.com article states that it is not uncommon for men to leg press over 2000 pounds, with some men going over 3000 pounds using a limited-range of motion. Use of the limited range permits training of the "strongest range" of the leg press movement using very heavy weight, purportedly to generate rapid strength gains in the leg and lower body muscles. Typically a person cannot do much more than double the weight of their standard 1-repetition, full-range leg-press when attempting limited-range strength straining (i.e., if they can do 500 pounds full-range they could do no more than 1,000 pounds for limited range training).
According to the video on CBN.com, Robertson was doing a limited range leg press as well as potentially using his hands and arms to provide additional leverage to the movement.

You gotta figure that if Rack gets involved in the new Supreme Court and Flag Burning threads, we'll reach it in no time.
It'd also help if Erhajj would make an appearance in the "No such thing as clutch" thread.

not this again
We made it again
WOO HOO!!
It's not looking too good.
How about we get at least halfway.
What the fuck is this shit? 4500 posts in a fkn month? Completely unacceptable, I take full responsibility. Expect a posting spree from me this weekend, we WILL NOT end up with under 5000 posts for a month...
I've really slacked lately but with a day of beers and watching college football from home tomorrow, I ought to be able to contribute my fair share.

Just a few over 200 since I made this post.
Only 160 to go. A busy dee nee is a great dee nee.
Indeed, looks like we'll get the job done. Everyone deserves a BOOYAH for their effort...
5002.
