Title: Spike Owen siting
Post by: thosegogotigers on 05/31/06, 11:11:14 PM
I saw Spike Owen as the 3rd base coach for the Round Rock Express (AAA Astros) when they played the Omaha Royals. Here are some pictures after I heckled the hell out of him...

wouldnt heckling spike owen be the same as a food critic writing a food review about ramen noodles?

This would be an example of an RBIer in Omaha.

I was just yelling about how bad he sucked in RBI. The crowd (or at least what was there) all got a kick out of it, and some actually knew what I was talking about. The biggest laugh I got out of him was when I told him I would sub him out for Dave Henderson or Tony Armas could bunt farther than Spike could swing with that cocked-ass swing. Nice site by the way.

Not from Omaha, just living here since 9/05. From St. Louis, which probably doesn't get too far with you Chicago guys, but I went to WIU in Macomb, so most of my friends in college were Chi-towners. Lived in Peoria for awhile too.

That's the worst crowd I've ever seen, especially for a AAA game.

Hopefully it was coming off a long rain delay.

If you see an RBIer, you need to get them to sign a copy of the game
