So here is a useless story because I am bored:
I was playing RBI against my brother the other day, and I was losing 3-1. I had the bases loaded. 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. I was pretty sure it was over because my pitcher was up. I hit a rocket to his second baseman in which he errored and flew off of his face like half way across the infield. I scored a run. Tim Raines comes up and he does the same thing. Tie game. Sandberg comes up and does the same exact thing and I won. The game screwed him over and made him make three bops in a row on the same hit with the same charecter. I laughed at him. End
Valenzuela owns your ass. Much love.
Usually this is the kind of story that I wouldn't believe.
However, I once called two straight bops against OctoFranco, and have committed at least three errors in an inning before.
So, I believe you, son, I do.
My brother has also hit a homerun (botton of the wall foul pole, I forget the name) off of me, and very few people beleive me. WALTZIE! THats it... I remember it now. But yeah not many people beleive me, however I swear on Fernando's life that I do not tell a lie.
we believe you, trust me
I've probably hit wallzie's in the hundreds
I don't believe that his brother ever hit a home run off of him though.
Hahahaha I meant with a pitcher.
way to completely falsify your story.
Octo and I just did the math, and, giving you the benefit of the doubt that your brother was Detroit, the odds of him committing three straight bops is.
Da-dum-da-dum.
9709-1, let alone all three balls hit being grounders to the second baseman.
I probably have played more than that many games.
I've probably played more than that many parlays with similar odds, but have never hit any of them.
What a great story!

Then I guess that you're terrible at sports betting!

So what you are saying is that it is very possible, so maybe you'd expect to see 3 consecutive Bops say once in every 500 games or so

Why does this matter?

I was unaware the different teams had different defenses.

And how. (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/faq.shtml#FIELDTEAM)
And it's not that implausible that his story really happened, I've definitely seen 13-time Golden Glove winner Ozzie Smith make bops on two consecutive groundballs. Although I do agree that P-Hole's follow-up post supporting the pitcher homerun completely destroys any credibility he had.

What does this have to do with this thread?
Sometimes I post things in wrong threads, I was wondering why that post didn't appear in the DC Factory thread while they were talking about dreamcast/rbi speeds.
But alas, now it's too late.
Franco, I own you. I love you at the same time. And yes my brother hit a waltzie with a pitcher. I have said this since my first post here and I will continue to say it. Fernando will now bean you in the head. <3
