I'll work on the ROM and get it up before the games start.
Each team will play 13 games, although some teams will have played an extra or one less game as of right now (for example, The OC closes the season with a doubleheader).
If the penis wins out, the penis is in the playoffs.
It's down to the nut cuttin'.
anybody wanna trade some of their stars to help our team with a playoff run?
Is it not past the trade deadline?
i would say no, but only for teams that would like to trade with me.

There's no trade deadline until the end of the regular season - you have to have your roster set by then. I'll approve all trades to make sure there isn't any funny business going on.
send all business (including the funny kind) my way or pm bdawk.
Can we go ahead and give Leonard the MVP award?
How many people are planning on playing if we do another season? I'm willing to continue to do this, if you all don't mind the sporadic frequency of the games. I ask because I think we should allow one keeper per team from this season to next - something to keep in mind if you're thinking about trades.
I'm in again
I'd be in again as well
i'd be in again, but you'll probably have to figure out what your schedule and stuff is like having another mouth to feed.
i wanted keepers last year, you a-holes.
j/k biff?

Hopefully, we'll have less turnover this season, so keepers won't be so problematic and damaging to the new teams.
And yes, it would be great if someone would like to help simulate the games - it's fairly easy to use the stat-tracking software, and I would still handle all of the data input for season stats, standings, etc. But we'll cross that bridge once we get to it.
I'm in.
I'd be in...as I will hjave to defend my inevitable title from this year.
As for keepers, I am against it. Essentially whoever picked early last time will have a better guy to keep than people who picked in the 8-10 spots. So if we must have keepers, 2 would be more fair...then again if you have new guys entering the league, its more unfair. Fucking conundrums. Anyway, my vote is no.
new people coming into the league could "buy" someone else's old franchise.

I'm gonna buy you out and make this a really profitable organization. Call me Jerry Jones
I'd do it again. Not sure if I want to keep any of these douches though.
The OC @ Parish State University is over. Game video is attached, box score and recap to follow shortly.
RECAP:
Andre Dawson homered three times while Ellis Burks and Terry Pendleton each homered twice and drove in a combined 15 runs as The OC pulled into a tie for first place in the Gantry Division with a 26-16, seven-inning victory over THE Parish State University in a game played Tuesday afternoon at Tengen Stadium.
The OC (7-4) used power at the beginning and end of the game to pull away with the victory. They rolled to an 8-0 lead after two innings, only to see THE Parish State University (4-8) take a 13-9 lead after five innings. However, The OC broke it open by scoring 17 runs in the last two innings off of loser Nolan Ryan.
Wally Joyner and Dale Murphy each homered twice for Parish State in the defeat.

The Poopydicks @ The Frank Tanana All-Stars is complete. Game video is attached, box score and recap immediately following.
The Penis is up for the challenge next year.
Is there any way to set up kind of a "Fantasy RBI Game of the Week" where all of dee-nee can watch a "live" game?
RECAP:
George Bell homered twice and drove in six while Chili Davis hit three triples as The Poopydicks held on to a wild 25-23 victory over The Frank Tanana All-Stars to in a game played on Monday evening at Tengen Stadium. With the victory, The Poopydicks reduced their magic number to clinch a Doverbi playoff berth to one. They can clinch the second spot with either a victory over The Creamy Pirates later this week or by a Fighting Tony Danzas loss in Week 13.
The Frank Tanana All-Stars (8-4) jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first inning, only to see The Poopydicks (7-5) score six runs in the top of the second to take a 7-6 lead. The Poopydicks looked to have the game in hand after going ahead 18-9 after their half of the fifth inning, but The Frank Tanana All-Stars to within 18-17 after seven innings. The Poopydicks' offense again gave their pitching staff some breathing room with two runs in the eighth inning and five runs in the ninth inning, looking to have put the game comfortably away.
However, The Frank Tanana All-Stars had one more rally in them, scoring six runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, including a two-out three run homer by Willie Randolph. They were able to get Julio Franco to the plate with the tying run. But on a day when he hit two home runs and added two triples, he could not pull out one more key hit as Steve Bedrosian enduced him to foul out to first base to end the game.

The problem is that to do stats, I frequently pause the game to "catch up" since the action goes quicker than I can keep up. Everyone is welcome to download the ROM and the video and use VirtuaNES (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/nes/virtuanes.html) to watch the games.
OC, bitch
WOOO!!! WOOO! WOOO HOOOO! YES YES YES YES!!! POOPYDICKS MOTHERFUCKER WHAT!
The Nimrods @ South Arkansas Penis game is complete. Game video is attached. Box score and recap to follow.
EDIT: Added spaces to help people not see the results if they wanted to download and watch the game first.
RECAP:
The Nimrods vowed to be spoilers when they appeared to be out of playoff contention. And they've managed to do that during the last few weeks of the Fantasy RBI season. That trend continued Tuesday night, as they dealt a potentially crippling blow to The South Arkansas Penis' playoff hopes with a 19-7, four-inning victory on Monday night to close out their season on a positive note.
Darrell Evans homered three times and drove in seven, while Ruppert Jones hit two home runs and added five RBI as The Nimrods (6-7) pounded losing pitcher Frank Viola for 26 hits in the four innings.
Viola did have one of the lone highlights for The South Arkansas Penis (6-6) when he hit an inside-the-park home run, the first for a pitcher this season. With the result, both The Creamy Pirates and The OC closed their magic number to clinch playoff berths to one with two games remaining each.

Jose Canseco hit three home runs and drove in eight to lead The Unholy Legions of Doom (5-7), while Jack Morris had three hits, including two triples, as well as pitching five innings of strong relief.

The Creamy Pirates @ The Poopydicks game is complete. Game video is attached, box score and recap to follow.
RECAP:
The Creamy Pirates clinched a playoff berth by defeating The Poopydicks 23-12 on Friday morning at Tengen Stadium in a game with far-reaching consequences for the Fantasy RBI postseason. The loss by The Poopydicks also clinches the Doverbi Division title for The Frank Tanana All-Stars and puts the fate of the second playoff spot in the hands of The Fighting Tony Danzas.
Mark McGwire homered twice to lead a balanced Creamy Pirates (8-4) attack, while Tim Raines and Ray Knight each drove in four. The Creamy Pirates reduced an early deficit with ten runs in the fourth and fifth innings, and broke the game open with seven runs in the ninth inning.
George Bell and Lou Whitaker each homered and drove in three for The Poopydicks (7-6), who can now only watch from home as their postseason fate is decided next week. The Fighting Tony Danzas sit one-half game back, but own the season tiebreaker with The Poopydicks by virtue of having swept the season series. They will earn the second Doverbi Division playoff spot with a win over The Hip Young Popes. A Hip Young Popes victory would give the second playoff spot to The Poopydicks.

You all are lucky this is a 13 game season, the Nimrods were just warming up and would've rolled in a 26 game season

You do have the second-best run differential in the Division, so it was just a matter of dropping a few close games. The OC is 7-4, but is -1 in run differential...
can we expect a week 13 Fantasy RBI Baseball Tonight Special?
