TBT vs Nate Nate Nate (duh....who else?)
We rolled thru 9 games. I had my share of great pitching performances this night. ive realy improved at nibbling at the corners and stuff, but i still need to improve.

Man was my defense rusty and crappy this game. throws to the wrong base and shit like that. Nate leaves in alexander too long in the 7th and gets stung with a couple runs to tie. morris was waiting in the pen. In the 10th rice goes walk off.

3 solo shots for SF and bad ass pitching. even 1 homer by aldrete(nates full time lead off man).

I 1 hit the slob in this game, and cruise. Gooden came in to pitch after Orosoco and ojeda in proly the 8th or 9th.

In the early goings somewhere with runners on 1st and 2nd, i give a up a single to right. i try to throw to 1b as the cut off to throw home, but my 1b-man is not there, and it rolls to the back stop. 2 runs for Hou score. Clark goes yard for me.

I toss a no hitter vs Bos for 7 innings. not too shabby. I cant remember how i scored, but i know it was late like the 7th or 8th. nate had burned up his pitcher early getting out of some jams, and was down to his last guy by the 7th or so. i still had morris and king by then. he knew he was basically screwed.

I was rolling with a no no thru 3 innings, but then the wheels fal off, and Joyner hits a grand slam. I manage a 2 run shot late to make the score closer, but i was toast this game. I tried to get too cute with krukow and rueschel, and i got hammered.

Just one tfhose games. some bops, some mis-played fly balls, some timely hitting, and just all around bad luck for nate. He demands a rematch immediately.

I give up a strawberry 3 run shot on the 1st. 2 strikes and i dont throw him any junk. it was on the outer edge of the plate, but i had no business being that close with 2 strikes and men on.

I toss a 2 hitter here. nate did mess somethingup that lead to a run, but in the end it didnt matter.
thats all folks. happy with the pitching efforts. seemed like when i could get into a groove i was really on with the 1 and 2 hiter and Boston probably only got 2 or 3 hits in the other game.
my bating is still lack luster, but that should improve. looks like thursday will be a few more games.

eh, it was the last game in the series i won. :( I blew the next game big time as gooden gave up 4(?) runs.
had i known then, what i know now........maybe i coulda better used NY in game 2 vs Cal. The good doctor is usually 2nd and sometimes my 3rd pitcher anymore depending on match-ups.
reviewing this makes me think i need to look a little harder at the SF/CAL and the Hou/STL match-ups, since i dropped both regardless of teams.
