I've updated my RBI '04 ROM to celebrate 20 years of RBI in 2006.
(Here's the 2004 version http://dee-nee.com/rbi/roms/rbi04-fryak.zip (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/roms/rbi04-fryak.zip))
Here are the highlights of the game:
* In the spirit of the original, the 8 regular teams are the 2005 playoff team
* I tried to add a little more speed to the game to make things interesting
* As for the worst team in the game, Houston ... well they're still there, but San Diego is probably the worst.
* With a few exceptions the player stats were taken from the 2005 season. Player's teams were loosely determined based on 2006 opening day rosters.
* Every team has a surprise on the bench!
Awesome...But how about Robinson Cano instead of Miguel Cairo on the Yanks?
That's a good point... something didn't seem right about that. Here's the updated version.
Pretty good ROM but I don't know about Biggio having more power than Chip Jones... Chipper def. should be in the 820s or 830s according to your system...
I agree Chipper probably should have a little higher power rating, but not much. He only has 7 HRs this year and a slugging % of .456. That's not anything to get too excited about.
OH, I didn't know Tengen predicted the future in RBI when they made their lineups... I thought they went by the years of the past..
chipper jones has been a lame duck this year

The surprise on the bench is a great touch. Usually half of the pinch hitters suck at the plate. This "surprise" cures that problem!
Good job!
