I choose 1st and take NYG on the road. SF gets the ball 1st and goes on a long drive for a TD and scores a second td in the 2nd to take a 13-0 lead into the half. I had nothing for him all game long. I manage a lousy fg late. SF wins 13-3
CHI(Nate) @ CLE(TBT)
Knowing imma need field positon from some kick returns after nate takes CHI, i go with mcneil and Cleveland. McNeil gets a huge kick return early that leads to a fg. Cle gets another score in the 1st half and cruises 10-3. Gentry just misses taking it to the house as time expired on kick return at the end of the 1st half.

I look over the teams and know LA causesd fits for anyone, so im set. LA takes a controlling 10-0 lead early. in the 3rd Den blocks a fg attempt to stay around, and they eventually tie it up. The game goes into OT where shroeder gets the passing game going and bahr hits a chip shot for the win 16-13
MIN(Nate) @ DAL(TBT)
With nate taking MIN soley for defensive reasons, i take a team that has a strong running game and decent passing atack. nates rusty with MIN and managing a game with them, and i capitalize on his in-ability to move the ball. DAL cruises 24-7. In the 2nd half MIN started to move the ball and play good defense, but they are a match-up based team, and selecting them 1st was not good.
TBT wins 3-1. Booya!
Now onto the RBI.

I give up a early 2 run homer then shut em oput the rest of the game, and pitch a 3 hitter.

Nate gets a 2 run single and kerfeld, ryan, and scott prove to be enuf.

I give up 2 hits while routing him. buncha bad shit happened like bops and a slug of those balls hit in the gap and the computer dont let your ss or 2b go after them.

Nate gets a lot out of the relievers, and then cruises late with the starters. Jacksons bomb was my only score. Aldrete gets a double then scores a couple batters later.

prolly my 3rd ever all star game played. i was up 3-0, but got careless with saberhagen and it cost me. i was used to kerfeld vs stl, but this is a whole different game. i give up 3 or 4 solo homers.
overall 6-3 at rbi tonight vs my nemesis, and i pitched lights out. really makes me wish i was there at the cotut, cause the pitching was on every game.
ive become so careful pitching lately that its incredible some of the things i been consistently doing. booya! a slug of 2, 3 and 4 hitters anymore.
now that its not 3 something in the morning i'll make some further more points.
Nate repeatedly says "random my ass" on the errors.
There are no descriptions that would do it any justice concerning the amount of bops his team makes, or in the situations that they happen. Those accounted for probably an extra 14 or 15 baserunners for me in those games. Definately averaging over 1 game, when we take into consideration those games where he'd have 2 or 3 untimely bops.
Nate also isnt the benefactor of those much either. i made some plays where after my fielder recovered from a bop ti still throw out his batter, like with Tony Armas on a grounder to 2nd, opr a hard smash to 3rd.
And my pitchers went nuts at the plate last night. Tudor went 3 for 3 in a game with a double in the gap, Saberhagen went 2 for 2 with a couple dribblers to 3rd. I think i had doyle alexander go 2-2 for a couple singles. To conserve pitches, nate usualy grooves some in there with some curve, but still very hittable pitches. My guys were just on fire last night. Uusualy i look at a couple go by, so he gets used to me not swinging. but last night i jumped the gun on a few at bats and swung on the 1st pitch.
another thing that had Nate livid was the computer controlled situations. grounder in the hole between 3b/ss or else between 2b/1b and the computer doesnt allow you to controll the right defender. all night long i was getting a single here and there. Nate on the other hand would hit the ball to my guys in those situations repeatedly and id get at least 1 out and sometimes a double play.
poor guy. no wonder he hates the game/me. ;D
randomness at the game of rbi screws the natester over to a ridiculous degree. I wish i had these debauchals on tape. Eveyr night i play tbt its like this but last night was THE WORST EVER!
I wish we would have counted these stupid random things last night, i guarantee you i avereaged at least 3 bops a game. i averaged having my computer controlled ss and 2b feel free to whiff on plays like 4 times a game last night.
i kid you not there was a game last night where in ONE INNING, he had 5 singles go through the whole between 2b and 1b in which the computer controlled 2b made no effort yet they were close enough i could have snagged em had i been controlling em. it was ridiculous last night. ::)
