Title: no subs
Post by: blahblaht on 07/03/06, 06:11:14 PM
how would a rule of no subs except for pitchers affect the rankings of the teams?
would it still be the same 3 at the top?

An interesting question poorly asked.

It's gotta be Dt though, head and fucking shoulders.

Yeah, Riley and I have played like this before...Dt is clearly the answer.  They are probably right up there with the two all star teams with that rule.

joe, you think al is that good without subs?  randolph, baines, maybe brett, and schroeder?  are all the other teams worse?  i don't know.

Well AL really only has 1 good bench player, so there entire value of subs is McGwire for Randolph, many think (probably rightly so) that AL isn't as good as Cal, Det, Bos with subs, but the Mattingly, Bell, Canseco, Ripken is a very good 4 some in a game without subs, not as good as Dt.

Playing this way would also increase Mn's value quite a bit since they really have no strong subs.

Boston, Cal, and NL are hurt the most, though they are still strong teams

Try saying it out loud the way it was written.

Worst...sentence....ever.
