i just saw on espn news that somebody got hurt and the son of a horrible rbi'r will be called up.

I don'tt think Gwynn is a "horrible rbi'er."  I don't think he's great, but he's better than the likes of Pettis, Ozzie, Tommy, etc...

I would have to agree.  I was surprised by how well he is doing in my fantasy league.  He has 17 home runs in 27 games.  That is just as many (or more) than 35% of the league.
Actually, he has the same number of home runs as Nokes, Whitaker, and Schofield.

let it be known that my mistaken duplicate subject posting has to do with the following:

1) espn's bad reporting--i couldn't tell from the "bottom line" that he had already played, they merely said he was called up.

2) bad titleing by fknmclane. 

it has no bearing whatsoever on my ability to read this board, nor my reading comprehension thereof.

TBG is right.  People should be exempt from Napoleon Dynamite criticisms if the other thread about a subject is poorly labeled and thusly ignored by another poster, as was the case here.  We'll need a ruling on this.

maybe he didn't know how to win.  or the chemistry was never right on any of those padre teams.
