I don't suppose you can rearrange it so I play Octo before Friday?

(He's coming back from Harvard this weekend and we can do a drinking game while watching it...because we have such cool lives).

Ooh, yes please.  Computer playing with arcade RBI'ers = mucho binge drinking.

I's gettin' me a education.

It's only an 8-credit summer program though, no degree.  (Still an undergrad at U of MD the rest of the year).  I was looking forward to being in New England because I thought north meant cooler weather.  Not the case.  Also if anyone wants autographs from the Car Talk guys, let me know...

What do you mean you play Octo?  That's a week 7 game, I could record it now, but I don't know about any lineup changes you are going to make next week.

Actually looking at it I can change the schedule so you play Octo this week and Other plays Bastardo, and flip them with week 7 games.  I'll do that.

Video of the Attez/Octo game which I just realized was dumb to do so early because I'm not going to be able to score it until after the weekend.

Ult 17 Nomaa 1 (3 inn)

It appears Gooden is back on the drugs as he had his 2nd bad outing in a row getting absolutely rocked in this game as Ult got contributions from everyone and a strong 3 innings from Phil Niekro.

Yes, I think it may have been a  mistake to move it from 10 in retrospect, but that's OK

actually. i think 15 runs is a better idea. i mean, watching my game before last, i was down 11 runs, and had a very good chance of bringing it all the way back.

It certainly makes it more exciting, but the bad thing is that comebacks are too likely because the CPU will leave the starter in until it is back to within 4 which often means these insane lineups will certainly start beating up on a tiring pitcher it almost makes it too easy to comeback

Bonny 20 TBT 5 (6 inn)

TBT's offense fails to show up again as one of the preseason favorites has moved to 1-3, John Tudor had another bad game and for Bonny Andre Dawson NES continues to be a fantasy monster going 5-5 with 2 HRs.

Other 22 Bastardo 20

A back and forth game saw Other take a 12-7 lead off a tiring Spahn, but Bastardo fought back to tie at 12, before Other took a 16-12 lead, again Bastardo fought back.  It was 20-17 Other going to the 9th when Dave Concepcion had a lead off single followed by a Mattingly ARC HR, Jackie Robinson doubled and was eventually driven in by Joe Adcock to tie it.  But in the bottom of the 9th Jimmy Foxx hit a 2 out 2 run shot for the walk off win.

Yes, I'll do something after all this weeks games are done.  Also people can start posting any lineup changes they have.

I probably won't have time to watch/score the Octo/Attez game today, so I'll do it tomorrow.  But all lineup changes are due to me by end of the day Wednesday and will be effective for Weeks 5-8

Watched the game over the weekend, I must reiterate that I hate Jack Clark, so, so much.

Jack Clark is less clutch than A-Rod.

Octo 21 Attez 18

A back and forth game through the first few innings, Octo finally opened up leads of 13-9 and 17-11, Attez fought back cutting it to 17-15 and 20-18, but they couldn't get anything off Roger McDowell in the 9th.

I'm pissed at this point because some of the total stats don't balance (1 more hit than hits allowed and 1 more run allowed than scored) this is because I don't have a good undo function on my software and I have to take everything away individually, but oh well no big deal, here's the spreadsheet, League leaders to follow

Early on in mine and Octo's game, I saw Scott throw a slow pitch that didn't drop.

I was always under the impression that all of Scott's slow pitches (when he has stamina), dropped.

Ultimate, your thoughts?

His drop is 14, I don't think even a 15 guy with Stamina pts left gets 100% drops, I think it's more a Q for Nightwulf, I'm sure I've seen Scott throw pitches that didn't drop before, even when fresh.

at this point, im highly doubtful that my team would even beat the anti-hero raphael santana team.
