Title: Another One Bites the Dust!
Post by: Gwynn3k on 04/18/02, 03:14:54 PM
only a weak after the firing of terry garner, his rbi teammate, davey lopes, is relieved of his duties as skipper of the beermakers...  in just over a year, the brewcrew have decided that lopes is not their guy... it might help if they gave him some players to work with instead of those windmills that repeatedly strike out.   the brewers suck but changing the manager wont make a difference...

This is a disturbing trend...  By my count, there are only three RBI managers left - Boone, Baylor and Brenley.  Given that Brenley just won it all, he should be safe.  And being a Chicago native, I'm pretty sure Baylor isn't going anywhere.   How about Boone?

i dont think that boone's job is in jeopardy... the reds are playing well even without junior griffey...

i would like to see gibson get a manager job...  how could you help but play hard for that guy?

I can agree with Bban, Bret Boone had to have been on the juice last year, but the question is did he do it this year also, we'll have to see.
