as most of you know, i went on vacation last week to myrtle beach. most of you don't know i was too sick to hit the beach until later in the week (full out sinus infection, viral throat infection, both ears infected). this called for tons of nintendo, including the ride in the car (thanks to a 9 volt car adapter and a 2007 honda odyssey demonstrator with every option possible (dvd and aux invluded). i'd say i racked in almost 40 hours of nintendo in a seven day period of being sick. anyway, i was playing rbi with my sister, i picked san francisco as 1 player and she picked national. as she picked national, the game froze. since we were both too lazy to reset, it just sat there. then, about ten or fifteen seconds later, the game started, but only second player was usable (cpu picked for first player). then, when the game started, the teams became boston and california, but the pitchers were still the same for san fran and national. the game played as normal, and after the game, it played as usual, just with the second controller instead of the first.
then after this, my sister and i were playing series style, her as boston, me as houston. as i was up by nine in the bottom half of an inning, ryan came up with two outs and a runner on third. two failed bunt attempts gave me two strikes. on the third attempt, it was looking fair, and the runner came to home plate. as my sister waited for the ball to go foul, ryan reached first, scoring the runner. however, immediately after the runner scored, the ball was ruled foul, causing the third out, but instead of the inning ending, the game ended to the slaugter rule.
i think somebody was hallucinating, what with the high temperature from infection and all.
I think I've seen a runner score on a foul ball like that before, and I think if the game hadn't ended, you may have gotten credit for the run and the runner would have been back at 3rd, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
We were playing last month and in the middle of a game. My son yanked the controller, which semi-reset the Nintendo (actually one of those new, imitation Nintendos made in China). Our teams went from St. Louis and Boston to two different teams, but the runners on base, the score, and stats remained the same. In our case, I believe the pitchers changed as well. He's not allowed to throw mini-tantrums anymore when using the Nintendo.

I don't know about your quirk, but that Griffey .336 icon is awesome, with that 1970s beard and detailed Reds uniform...

Wait, so wouldn't it be called a Nintinda then?
