As always Ultimate, brilliant work.
I think Ult and Octo have the two best teams in the league.

I think Ult and Octo have the two best teams in the league.
Too bad I'm last in the division and Octo is only a game ahead of me
Octo's pitching has been insane (This may have been the first time that Sabe was really hit hard).
My order 1-8 may be best but I've had some badly timed poor pitching or offensive lapses.
Bastardo 29 Bonny 27 (10 inn)
It was the battle for 1st place in the Dee Division. Trailing most of the way, Bonny scored 9 in the top of the 7th due to some shoddy defense and timly hitting and a 3 run shot by Don Bayolr to pull ahead 25-22. When Danny Heep added a 2 run PH HR in the top of the 8th and Bruce Sutter pitched a scoreless 8th it was looking good for Bonny with a 27-23 lead. But Bonny decided to pull Sutter and started the 9th with Lee Smith who gave up a single to Will ClarkARC and a 2 run shot to Joe Adcock. After retiring Ruth, Aaron HR to close the gap to 27-26, a DiMaggio triple followed by a SF by Gary Carter and the game was tied going to extras. A 2nd scoreless inning pitched by Lefty Grove set up Joe Adcock to hit his 4th HR of the game, a 1 out 2 run shot off of Smith.

Attez/TBT and Nomaa/Other games attached
Attez 31 TBT 30 (10 innings)
Far and away the craziest game of the year so far, each team scored 5 in the 5th, but TBT built a 12-6 lead in the 3rd and maintained a healthy lead into the top of the 8th when it was 22-13 TBT and Attez had 2 outs and no one on, with Tudor pitching well, he had only given up 1 run in 3 innings. But George Foster hit a 2 out 2B, followed by 5 straight HRs (Wilson, Ott, Campy, Hernandez, Maldanado) and after a Trammell single, Tudor was finally pulled, but Fernando gave up a single to Ozzie Smith, and a 3 run shot by Eddie Matthews tied it at 22. TBT then put up 6 in the top of the 8th to seemingly take back control of the game, but another 2 out rally included singles by Whitey Ford and Ozzie Smith set up another 3 run shot by Matthews to give Attez his first lead since the 2nd inning at 29-28. In the bottom of the 9th Charlie Kerfeld had a 1 out RBI 2B but was thrown out trying to stretch it to a triple killing TBT's rally and sending the games to extra's tied at 29. In the 10th Attez got 2 unearned runs on a 2 out single by Ozzie Smith, then in the bottom of the 10th Reggie (8/8 with 4 HRs) hit a lead off HR, but after a single by Evans, Strawberry line into a double play, then Bob Horner hit what looked to be the game tying HR only to have it hit off the top of the wall, and then Ford got Brookens to ground out to end the game.

I believe I lost.
You should have
This is what I got.
With Ozzie Smith popping out to left with runners on second and third in the bottom of the 9th.
I also had it that I was the home team.
Don't tell me I watched the wrong damned game?
In my version, both TBT and I had ten run leads at the end of an inning.
regardless, i just like the version where reggie jackson goes 8 for 8.
In the ROM-Movie I posted, Attez is the road team, I'm not sure what you did. Note that Ozzie should lead off the game with a triple, I just downloaded and tried it and that is what happened.
Apparently I watched the wrong game. The one from earlier in the season, but for whatever reason it played with Ozzie and Guidry and so on.
I'm retarded.
I thought about that but the score came out differently than the first time
Nomaa 30 Other 17
Nomaa finally found some offense after falling behind 5-1 in the first it was all Nomaa, as they scored 10 in the 2nd and never looked back. Frank Robinson broke all kinds of watch game records by hitting 6 HRs and getting 25 total bases and Gooden pitched a complete game.

Leaders and All-Star teams to follow
Actually, I think I might know why the score turns out differently sometimes.
The VirtuaNES video maxes out at thirty minutes - after that the game will continue playing, but it won't be what Ult recorded. So if a game lasts more than 30 minutes (which some in this league are) then different people get different end game results.
Maybe that's the reason?
Are you sure about the 30 minute thing Matt? See this pic, I've now seen this game 3 times all with the same exact outcome, and the time on the RBI clock shows 36 minutes, of course I record and watch at fast speed so maybe that answers it?
I'd hate to lose game results because VIrtualNES stopped recording
When I was rewatching the first game last night to confirm the result (before realizing I was retarded), I noticed that some point late in the game it said "Movie Stopped" and the timer stopped running.
My real question is, how was the movie able to play (the first game) when I was using an entirely different rom?

I've never seen that, I don't think I see a timer while it's running, do you watch the game in fast mode?

It can play the game with the wrong ROM it just screws up the actual batters (I believe it uses the players and teams from the ROM and the actions of the movie from what little I've seen)
Maybe it's not half an hour, but I definitly know for sure that when I watched one of USC's games before, it stopped the recording (and I got the Movie Stopped message that Attez got) and I obtained a different final score than USC got. Most RBI games (I'd say at least 85-90%) this is not a problem, it only happens in 27-24 slugfests or extra-inning games.

Dear Jack Clark, Jack Clark, Mel Ott, and Keith Hernandez.
Way to make me proud.
The question is, could the Dee SuckALot team defeat the Nee All-Stars?
The IF's C's and RP's were pretty easy to pick for the Suck A Lot, but really no OF deserved to be Suck A Lots and only about 1-2 SP per team really deserved it
