I am nightwulf. You're thinking of Attabobble.
Haha,
I don't smoke camels.
And I was as cordial as possible with him, even offering to go down and negotiate the discount for his room that he didn't initially get. It was only when I was playing Beales and he and his "trainer" were standing behind us shouting "Foul" and "Home Run" and just generally being as obnoxious as possible, that things turned bad.
And I must say, I'm not surprised at all that the chick was once a softball player.
And I'm pretty sure the game I beat him in was Detroit versus Minnesota.
Overall, that entire recap could not have been more inaccurate.
fairly well written....
i dont think the guy spent too much time here absorbing much information. from what i remember he was using teams like MIN, and STL in his 2 series he played.
they also forgot to bring power supply and tv hook up with them for thier nes, so i borrowed them the extra i had.
so whats steve katz doing nowadays?
there's two kinds of nerds. there's the kind that accepts the fact that they have internet friends, then there's the kind that writes whiny diatribes about how much better they are than the nerds that have internet friends.
Nice.
The 'other' side of the story of Attez's hatred of the Dee-Nee outsiders.

I enjoyed that piece. I stand by my original position that Conzelman got a raw deal at the tourney...I've said before and I'll say again--why can't we embrace our common love of RBI? The kid drove 1000 miles to be harrassed and made fun of (note: I'm not interested in having this debate again; I am merely saying).
Anyway, I thought the use of the NES controller for site navigation was clever...
And what's up with the thumb pictures, with and without ketchup on?
I have no clue what is going on.

This thread reminds me of Mr Tamborine Man
Believe it or not I got paid $350 bucks to write the article, including all expenses save for the entry fee. That might explain why the organization is now defunct.
Apologies for inaccuracies / misquotes / wrong names / etc. So, who's up for some online play?
