Title: JESSIE OROSCO CALLS IT QUITS
Post by: WClark on 01/28/04, 12:15:50 AM
Didnt see a post about this. Jessie Orosco has retired at the ripe age of 47 I believe. Another RBIer bites the dust.

You didn't look very hard (http://forums.dee-nee.com/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=1448).  It wasn't even off the front page of the board yet.

I have to say--Will Clark is my all-time favorite player (ever since '88) so I'm a fan of your profile.  strong work!

My graduation (H.S.) gift was a trip to see the Giants play the Padres for two games.  Wouldn't you know it that he played the game before I got there AND the game after!  I didn't get a chance to see him play in person until he was a Ranger!  Sheffield killed 'em that series.

I must also admit that he is NOT my favorite RBI'er, that title goes to Rock Raines (he hits the inside pitch way better, and is fast as hell).
