Title: fantasy rbi advice, or observations?
Post by: TbT on 09/29/06, 01:52:10 PM
whats the secret to winning in fantasy rbi watch seasons?  i stacked my team with pretty much more power than anyone else in the league, and im 6-6.  :(  i figgered i was just gonna score boatloads of runs and blow away the oppostion every game.  so far theres only been an occasional glipse of my teams potential thats actually showed.

im almost thinking i needed a coleman, or raines on board sprinkled in the line-up to get some cheap infield hits, and and extra base or 3 a game on those balls that roll to the wall.

It's very much luck, especially since the seasons are so short.

I'm not sure why your team has hit so poorly, but your pitching has been awful at times, I'd stay away from Tudor for Fantasy purposes, but I'm not sure why.

I'm still of the opinion that contact is much more of an important stat in Watch games than it is in real, two-person games. Also, try to have Doc Gooden on your team, apparently.

This isn't working for Nomaa

my strategy i tried when i drafted was to find pitchers with high stamina, cause i figgered these games would be high scoring, and high pitch counts.

i also looked for guys with good drop balls, in hopes of getting some more cheap strikeouts than a team that didnt have those type of pitchers.  i thought it would gimme an edge, but overall i dont think the drop ball realy matters a whole hell of a lot on watch mode.

i'm sorry i can't give any advice because my draft strategy is apparently bulletproof.  i don't want to give away my secrets.  i will tell you i like the way fighton drafts, if that helps at all.
