Willie should have used Julio for Guillermo Mota in the middle innings.  Bases loaded, 2 out, come on Willie.  And then Mota gave up the tying runs.

Willie got let off the hook with the win.

Come on Willie.  You're an RBI player too, albeit on AL All Stars.

Julio is a god.  How he beat out that double play ball I will never know.  Off the bat I figured inning over.  Just a huge play to keep a crucial inning going.

Went to both mets games.

Game one was bar none, the one of the worst managed playoff game i have ever seen.  It was like willie and grady were going toe to toe, trying to let the other win.  game one willie decided that the 5th inning was actually the eighth so he goes lefty righty matchups.  Then he pinch hits tucker for bradford with one out nobody on.  Next inning bases chucked and he leaves mota (secret weapon?) in after he's already pitched an inning. Not to be outdone, Grady leave D Lowe in way too long and then brings in Brad Penny in a tie game.  I'm convinced the man is retarded.
Which reminds me
That double play at home.  The TV replay angles did this play no justice.  After Kent got tagged out at home JD pulls up ... i mean almost stops and then looks around confused like 7 or 8 feet away from home.  At this point Lo Duca has just tagged Kent out and is looking at the home plate umpire for the call.  Had Drew just kept running he would have definently scored because Lo Duca wasnt even facing the plate!  The only thing that reminded Drew to start moving again was John Maine screaming at Lo Duca "TURN THE FUCK AROUND" at which point he did in time to tag JD fucking moron out.

I like the analysis.  I couldn't believe Willie let Mota hit with stocked postseason bench.  Terrible job.  Good call on lack of camera angle on Drew play at plate.  Grady might be retarded but if he pulled Pedro, and then Williamson got hit, you'd hear just as many second guessers.  I was at that game and as Yankee fans we all wanted Pedro to get pulled.
