F*cking Joey Dirt.  You're the one who said you were "100% sure" infield fly rule is in effect with one on and one out.

Maybe I'll have to get out to Columbus next year.  If my Badgers are playing the Bucks.

I want GDavis in Round 1.  I guarantee a sweep.  My game is absurd right now.  I don't make mistakes.

That can be arranged.  Especially since we might end up being the only 2 people in the tourny.

Fkn BA Champ, I happened upon this PM from somebody in NY:

Quote from: OzzieLongBall on 07/05/04, 11:30:38 PM
I'm from Long Island, New York... im 20 years old and have been playing the game for about 10-12 years.. my best friend and me play a best of 3 game series every day after work, and 7 game series for money about once a month... I'd have a ton of interest in a tourney, no matter where it is... im in college, and have done much more stupid things, im sure... just lemme know when and where, i don't wanna talk anything close to trash, but i think id be able to hold my own.. and even if not, the challenge would be fun

Not sure if this fella is still around, but perhaps you can track him down.

Also, why isn't Mecha Blyleven on your list?

Oh, and isn't Steve Katz (2004 National OH RBI Tourney participant) in the NY area?  Forum Name NiceGaetti (btw, this is the best forum name we have...working RBI AND Reservoir Dogs together...nice).

Steve Katz participated in the 2004 Ohio tourney?

How'd that turn out?

steve katz had the ray liotta/rambo look going, but i dont recall how well his performance was in the tourney.

so if the ray liotta/rambo look was huge then id say he got over nicely.

thanks, joe dirt.  and you know what...i've been in hiding following the 2004 ohio debacle.  i just couldn't face the world, or the rbi world specifically.    Attez, touche.  that's rbi for ya...on any given day, anything could happen.  the tigers could even beat the yankees.

but...for an rbi tourney, a bridge and tunnel away...well...the katzman will come out of retirement. when and where??  i may or may not have some additional prospective entrants from the other side of the river too.  careful what you wish for....no dead money here.

all this talk of rivers and tunnells, i want to break into a springsteen song.  we even have "eddie" along for the ride (see meeting across the river off born to run)

location tbd.  i think optimal number of people is 6.  i liked the gdavis format last year which i don't feel like re-typing so i'll pull an old post from that time

true.  let's open it up a little bit.

Cool man.  Should we set a date mid November?

Does Saturday Nov 11 work?  GDavis, get your crew together.  BlyNoNo who is in put me in contact with Levi who was there last year.
