I think you have to have NL and Boston on the list after that most will have Detroit and Califormina, I think arguments could be made for SF and Minn

I went with NL, Bos, Det, and Min.   I just don't like Cal's pitching staff (I'm not crazy about Detroit either but I think they have an overall better offense)

wow MIN does surprise me but they do have a pretty good staff. L & R starters help.

I'd like to go "off the board" here, but I thiink you have to go AL,NL,BO,DT.   Too much offense.

I went with the usual suspects: NL, Det, Bo, Ca.  I can see making an argument for Mn, SF, and AL, although I think Minnesota's lineup holes and terrible bench offset Blyleven for the most part.

Alright, who the fuck voted for Houston?  STL is a pesky team and i despise playing against them, but Houston i do not fear.

I refuse to vote because there are no situations in which 2 SP should be used in a nine-inning game.

I voted for houston..their pitching can keep them in any...ANY...game...I think they can be dominant in a 2 SP game...

1. SF
2. NA
3. AM
4. BO

SF has 2 lights out starters. Det has no pitching and their offense is sooo over rated so it remains a mystery to me on the votes they recieved. Anyways, these top 4 teams have above average pitching staffs balanced with a solid offense.

Good point.  i didn't read the question carefully enough.

Also I don't think DET offense is overrated.  Tram, Gibby, DaEvans, Brookens could arguably be the best in their respective slots.  And Chester simply ALWAYS seems to torch me.

A team like SF can definitely sneak into the top4 when using 2 SPs because they have two studs with lower stamina.  Krukow is too vulnerable in 1SP games by taking pitches...

Idiot! Like that situaition has never happened in the world series, NCAA, high school baseball games with everything on the line. Use your imagination.

Det's Tram, Gibby, DaEvans trio are without a doubt great hitters, but the rest of the lineup is too streaky and I know hot to pitch to them to minimize solid contact. I always blow out Det.

while im critiquing the AL squd in 1sp, i'll say that they have some fine weapons for 2 SP games as well. i highly reccomend starting Key over Sabes though.  Sabes doesnt throw that hard, and after a few innings it seems that your opponent gets a good read of that sidearm delivery and can tee off.  The pen is not spectacular, but if you use Sabes as a long reliever but not trying to get much more than 3 out of him you might be ok.

if the grand canyon sized hole of futility in the bottom half of this line-up produces any runs im sure they could be a tough team to beat.
