Could someone please post a link to thread which he thinks is the best discussion of straight pitch vs. curve? Also, is there a list of members in terms of who plays straight vs. curve? What would you estimate is the % of members who play straight as opposed to curve.
Sorry if these are on FAQ but I don't think they are
theres also a lot on here that play slurve as well. curve but the ball has to stay in the strike zone.
create a puhl for the 3 different games. then you'll know.
Check out the RBI database Big Apple. I'm pretty sure all that info is on there.

Click on the word here to access the RBI Database created by Gantry.
I did that and I admit the database is sweet, but I don't see where it says the percentage of guys who play straight v curve
Straight Pitch: Gantry, Rack, Lips, Potsie, Poolstroke, Baines+his crew, Flood?, a couple others
Slurve: mclane, prettiest, beejay, BDawk?, others?
ATG: Most everyone else
I'm sure I'm missing a few more straight pitch and maybe a couple slurve, but that's about the breakdown.
me and the guys I play RBI with are primarily straight pitch too
I rarely get to play any RBI with another person, and when I do I usually play slurve with a buddy from college. The rules aren't formal, but we both prefer fielding to strikeouts.

This is my main reason for playing slurve as well.

me too...but of course I haven't played since Ohio...and I hadn't played before that for about 6 months. But I'm sure nobody at the tourney could tell I was rusty.
Your fucking underwear is rusty
I hate you.
You were at the Ohio tournament?
