Title: Best Side Arm Pitcher in the Game? Also, broiler is cocky...

I'd also be curious as to how these guys are ranked by the masses...

I think it's clear, given my HOF ballot, that I regard Uncle Jesse as the best of the bunch.

you have listed all the sidearmers in the game.  saberhagen is the only starter and orosco is the only lefty. btw it's kerfeld, not kerfield.  :)

i would consider a trade of danny cox for bret saberhagen, if shooty is listening...

Steve Bedrosian..for about 4-5 hitters. Can pitch from a funky angle and has good hard stuff with great movement.
Jessie Orosco has a really funky pitching slot and good movement.
Brett Saberhagen...would be better in the bullpen
Charlie Kerfeld, not much movement or zip on the ball.

This is a little misleading since Saberhagen is a starter.  So he can clearly go longer than all the relievers.
Kind of like asking, who is a better pitcher.  Mariano Rivera or Chris Carpenter?

I went with Saberhagen only because he is a starter.
Orosco has the lefty thing going for him, but that is it.  It all depends on what team you are using him against.
Personally, I think Bedrosian is the best side are reliever.  He has the fastest "normal" pitch, and "fastball", as well as above average curve balls in both directions.

if i can get 5 solid innings out of key, i am usually comfortable finishing the game with saber.

I'm surprised Strassy hasn't repeated his Charlie Kerfeld complete game story yet.

Me too, cause when he comes in, it is a hitting orgy and a spectacle of fireworks. Key is a wezl who can paint the black and bust one with his sharp curve or screwball. He can be on. As for that Saberfuck, he sucks. I own that fuck.
