I'm a rookie and it shows. It was a mere day or two ago that I sat in the living room of a Worcester Apartment and had the tail ends of my entire San Fransisco team handed to me by the bban...but I loved every second of it. Out of the archives of my mind came the joy, the blood, the sweat and the tears brought on by nothing short of an american marvel...i look forward to playing and posting more. hopefully i can reach the all-star status of t and bban at some point, but until then, i am but a petty apprentice. b and t, i expect lesson one tonight after work. this is going to be fantastic

your enthusiasm for the game is a good start, and a clear advantage over the common amateur. i look forward to competing with a new opponent - bban can wear a little thin (kindest regards to bban). tonight we will introduce you to the available teams, and teach you their strengths and weaknesses. during which, of course, we will bake a mess'a biscuits.

Variety is the spice of life. It's incredibly fun to pick Houston or the Mets and whomp on a novice. Some will run away and others will keep playing until they get better. The latter are keepers...
Ah yes there is nothing like brining in new players, some of my aussie teamates gave it a try, their coments about the game the next day at stretch were hilarious. Listen to some of these:
"The bloody catcher watched the ball roll right by him to the backstop and the cunt made the infielder go get it."
"Groundball to second and the first baseman is standing in the coaches box."
"The 3rd baseman throws a 3 hopper to first."
and to top it off,
"What the fuck kind of game was that Pines, I only got to bat 1 time, the bloody computer left me on the field."
But these days it seems like we always have a game going on in my room, everyone seems pretty rusty as they have been used to playing the newer more modern games, but it's starting to come back to them. Soon I will have some serious competition again!!!
sounds like you got some bitter blokes on your hands piner.... it probably doesnt help them that they are drunk off their ass when they are playing... i remember snelling last year in bernandino... how shitfaced was that guy...
