Thanks man!
Thanks for signing up danocento! That video was definitely a thing of beauty and is probably the biggest bit of "national" RBI exposure in the last 10 years. Always good to see new blood in the RBI Board, be sure to stick around and search around for common RBI discussions. This is a board that loves to "bump" old threads so feel free to take and old topic and reply to it as well...
That video was awesome. I was not a member when the first thread was introduced. So fuck off Napolean Dynamite. I am curious as to how they recreated that bit. Anybody have any ideas?

The guy did it on an emulator - he played the game up until the last half-inning to recreate the proper score, saved the game at that point (which you can do with emulators), and then just kept replaying each play of the last half-inning until he got it right. There are programs you can use to make emulator output into a video file, and he took all the video he gathered and edited it to match the radio call.
He actually had to edit the RBI ROM a little to make it work, too - the Mets used a different batting order than they have on the original game, so he had to switch some guys around and add Kevin Mitchell to the roster (he's on the Giants in RBI, as I'm sure you know).
Thanks BDawk. I was thinking something like that but was not sure.
No problem. It was easy, really.
