Title: McLane vs. Chubbrock
Post by: fknmclane on 03/05/04, 09:50:15 AM
Chubbs is coming over tonight.  No drinking will be involved but plenty of RBI will be played.  We plan on giving updates of our games and maybe trigger some more RBI discussion, since this board is severely lacking right now.

Maybe you need a poll to see who is the better player.
Perception is reality. If everyone here thinks chubb is better than you, then he really is.

Definitely provide the game updates, complete with biased commentary.  Those are always fun to read...

The biased commentary is definitely the main objective behind the posts.  I'm predicting a 4 game sweep for any and all 7 game series.

Game 1:

McLane SF 7
Chubbrock Mn 5

-Chili Davis had three homers.  The third and final blow was followed by Speier with his own solo shot.  Sealed the deal.

Game 2:

McLane Ho 3
Chubbrock SL 2

-Lopes led off with a single, Cruz and Lopes ran the perfect hit and run, and Garner cleaned up with a three-run bomb to score Houston's only runs of the game.  This was the first inning.  Poor Chubbs.

Game 3:

McLane Mn 8
Chubbrock Na 9

-I just got kicked in the nuts in the bottom of the twelfth by Dale Murphy.  MOTHERFUCKER!

4th and final game:

McLane Am 14
Chubbrock Na 8

-the score doesn't point to how much of a beatdown this game was.  After coming out hot in the top of the first with 3, Chubbs was immediately cooled down by my savage 5 run comeback.  George Bell was 10 for 10 or some shit, spraying liners all over the field while Chubbs crapped his pants.  Wooooo.  This one kinda erased the sting of the last one.

Looks like chubbs need to brush up on his skills, not a very good showing.   But then again we all have those days...

There wasn't any drinking involved.  I'm the better sober player.  When I have a few too many, he fucking annihilates me.
