mookie has a point... nobody uses the general section... as for rbi... nobody is posting... its as if you all have jobs or something more important to do other than prop up RBI. as for the college basketball tourney... its the greatest sporting event we have. cant wait for thursday.
Good call Gwynn. The NCAA Tournament is my favorite sporting event of the year. As for the lack of RBI talk, Midterms combined with the going to the Big East Championship have put RBI on the backburner for the time being. It will make a revival soon enough.
The forum has been pretty dead lately, we got some live games going on in my hotel room right now,not death, just some friendly competition, I quit after 2 games, these guys completely suck, but they're battling it out now between themselves. Out!!!
Why all the basketball talk? No one cares aboot it anymore. College basketball died in the mid-'90s. Players that are any good leave after their 1st or 2nd year, providing they even go to college. Players nowadays have no school spirit because they all just want to go pro. But I guess some schools care. If you have a shitty football team every year, you have to root for something.
hey greg, too bad you have no competition out there in the desert... you should play those guys standing on your head... might even the playing field.
One guy tried playing me with St. Louis, he thought they were the best team, he also thought that he could bunt on every time. Obviously he only got to play about 3 innings, also had a shutout against the Am-stars. They still think they can beat me though, any competition is better than cpu.
they must throw moon balls if they think st louis is the best team... i agree anything is better than playing the computer... my brother thinks he is good but i kick his ass everytime
Regarding off topic posts -- they really are fine for now because of the low amount on the RBI forum and low traffic level in general. It would be cool if we started using the General Forum, but it's a Catch-22 because anything you post will only get read by 1/3rd the people. Though if more people posted there, people would check it more often....
So give the general a shot if you remember. If not, posing in RBI is no biggie for now....
its not so much that i am worried about my posts being read as it is a time factor. it takes forever to go out of rbi and into general. oh well... i guess you dont have to respond to the tangent postings that go off topic.
It should only be two clicks, home and then general. The key is (especially if you want to stay in RBI) is to open "Home" in a new window. Right-click on the link and select "open link in new window" or whatever. That way it'll open a new page and you don't have to click all over to get back to RBI, simply close the new window when you are done...
And dee-nee.com could definitely use a processor upgrade, that'll happen at some point....
all in due time... the site seems to be moving fast enough for now... but i imagine that as the number of people accessing it increases, the speed will most likely decrease.
