Title: RBI Editor source
Post by: squarepusher on 03/13/04, 08:54:22 AM
Hello,

I run a site called Brewerfan.net, which is a fan site dedicated to the Milwaukee Brewers and minor league affiliates.  I'm very interested in developing a way to generate hacked RBI Baseball ROMs on the fly that include current rosters and attributes based on the data I store in my database (profiles/stats...etc).  Are the byte positions and flags/data to set in those positions public knowledge?  Or better yet, is source available from the RBI Baseball editors out there?

Thanks in advance,
Brian Kapellusch

I actually had started to make a RBI Rom manager. I thought it would be cool to be able to make roms on the fly with different teams from different roms. I never got far tho. I created an editor (which never has been released) that can import/export tab delimited text files into RBI.

However I will defer to Nightwulf on this, since his new online editor will include that feature.

If you want to know the specifics about roms, do a search on this board on rom & hex. That should dig up some old data we had on the subject.

Mike
p.s. BTW I like your web site. Any word on whether the Seligs are going to sell & end Brewer fans' misery?
