Title: Something is wrong
Post by: Reds on 03/14/04, 11:54:41 PM
hmmm........something isn't right in the RBI universe...things have been turned upside down, and inside out...

I give you this as an example...

A week ago, Briz and I played, the draw was StL vs. Dt....to say the least Dt (me) won....but  to lead the game off, the second pitch even...Vince Coleman goes yard off of Doyle...he pulled it straight down the line and it didnt hook foul...and went over the fence....

then again tonight....StL was pulled from the mighty cup'o'chips....against San Fran.....well in the third inning, damned if Ozzie didnt "cork one to right" and pushed it right over the fence...after the initial amazement/cheering subsided StL managed an 9-8 victory.....there were appr. 6 homers in that game...

Has the world turned inside out????   Vince/Ozzie becoming home run threats, and maybe Detroit hitting ground balls...

Someone tell me that the world is okay, and that the four horseman of the apocalypse are not strolling up to my front door right now....

Dt sucked serious ass for me the other night as well.  I couldn't get the ball in the air or out of the infield.

I lost with Detroit the other night too.  Except i think i have to blame 100% of this loss on box wine.

hmmm, this is very odd because my friend picks detroit a lot, and he hasn't been doing ANYTHING with them.  ???
