It's all about RBI players keeping it real...
Andres Galarraga is returning to Montreal, signing a one-year contract with the Expos on Thursday.
But can the Expos outlast another season? I mean the Expos fan support just blows in Montreal. Of course I had to buy a hat when I visited last fall.
One more thing, Big Cat will meet up with another RBI player...
The Expos signed Jose Canseco to a minor league deal last month.
the idea of jose playing outfield is ludicrous... the only way that guy is going to make the team is as a late inning pinch hitter, you know like marc sullivan...
i see the league working though... they think that jose will get some of those transplanted frenchies to stop watching the canadiens and check out the spos. i dont think it is going to happen... the only people that watch the spos are the old blue hair couple that smuggle booze into the game using their binoculars.
Why won't Canadian baseball just go away? No one cares aboot it. Canadians are quite content with their long-ass season of hockey lasting 11 1/2 months or whatever. And why do the hockey playoffs have to last like 3 months? I watched Hockey once, but then I remembered I was American so I quit watching. Anyway, it is discouraging to see such great RBI players having to deport themselves to Canada. Surely they can play for my Tigers. Canseco can play DH, and Andres can take over 1B duties after Dean Palmer hurts himself after 10 games.
your tigers are an enigma... they have been spinning their wheels ever since they beat my pads in 84. when is the last time they finished above .500. even now that they are in the central, they still have the chisox and tribe to contend with instead of the asshole pinstripers and the chowds.
dean palmer should play in about 50 games this year... he is a pulled muscle waiting to happen.
