hey everyone... i know that whether you want to admit it or not... we are all in a league somewhere... just wondering who everyone is tabbing as their sleeper for the coming year.
pitcher... carlos hernandez (Hou) kid is a nasty lefty. he should be availiable cause nobody knows about him. dont be discouraged that he pitchers at astro field (or whatever the hell that band box is call now).
as far as a hitter goes... my darkhorse would have to be pat burrell... i know he isn't exactly an unknown but i see huge stats coming off his bat.
interested to hear your thoughts rbi people.
guess you are all in denial... oh well
I know this has nothing to do with your topic because i didnt think it was too interesting. But what team is your little rbi guy supposed to be?
thats a padre fool... you know the team that finishes ahead of your shitty dodgers even though the doyers pay 3 times as much in salary...
That padres uni is my doing, and it doesn't really look too accurate. When I make the alternate teams, I have to have the lighter color be the main uniform or it won't work. If you look at all the other teams, the uniform is always the lighter color. If you have the uniform be the darker, the hat, mouth and glove would all have to be the lighter color (in this case yellow). I actually got the colors from this pic:

If anyone else wants a different team, let me know. Just keep in mind that you have to use the lighter color first...
And sorry for not replying to the email about it Joe, hope this will do...
thats fine... i have that card too... but it has got some ware and tear... i never was able to just leave cards alone... i liked to do things with them... that gwynn rookie is my favorite though... you have to admit he had a nice looking afro back then and for all you out there who say that he is fat, well look at him at the beginning of his career... the guy could fly.
Yeah Joe used to put the cards in his bike spokes, which led to one of his many bicycle accidents.
actually, i would sort them into teams, then sort them by positions and any other category i could think of to keep myself busy. i had an exciting childhood. and no a baseball card never caused a bicycle accident.
As kids me and another kid would just grab a handful of cards, about 20 or so, and we would see who would put together the best team. Players actually had to play their main position was the rule. Actually, me and this guy did this about 5 years ago when we were drunk and it was still very fun.
these activities were all we could do remember... this was before video games, even nintendo were availiable to distort the minds of our youth.
