I'm writing 'Chicago' in on the RBI Capital of the World ballot. With Gantry & friends (Dee-Nee) and the COTUT both being Chicago based, we simply can't be topped.

St.Louis! ;D
I'd agree that the Chicago are is the RBI capital. For now.
Do they have that on the sign by the h'way when you enter the Windy City?
No, but they don't have "Welcome to the Windy City" on there either. It's sort of a given fact that everybody accepts. I'll talk to Mayor Daley though to see what I can do.

It's pretty hard not to go with Chicago. There seems to be alot of quality RBI action there.
As for RBI players per capita I do have to give a little credit to Portsmouth OH. There are a lot of players here for a piece of shit town of slightly more than 20,000. It would be nice if some of the Portsmouth guys posted more on here. I think there are like 7 or 8 with accounts but never post.
Baines, weren't you telling us RBI caught on like wildfire in Portsmouth? I seem to remember saying you guys have crazy RBI nights with dozens of people. Sounds like paradise.
Here in Phoenix its me and the Chubbrock. And my brother will occassionally play. He isn't bad but gets frustrated with my higher skill level. His famous line is "you think your skill level would finally top out on a game as simple as this." I think not.

Yeah, RBI has become pretty big here in P-Town. It's been a little while since we've had really big games but back during the summer when everybody had a lot less to do we always had a few people willing to play on any given day during the week and sometimes 10+ on weekends. At my friend's house it seemed like you could walk in at anytime during the evening and see a game on the TV and one on the arcade. Damn, I miss those days.
Lately, everybody's been busy and it's been a little slow and has sometimes taken a backseat to Texas Hold Em but I still manage to get in a few games a week. I'm optimistic b/c we've met a few new people who said that they like to play RBI and we're trying to get some small tournaments together and hopefully the big one this summer. I really am surprised though at how many people we've met around here outside our regular group of friends who also play RBI all the time.
