Title: By default, I am an RBI Legend
Post by: Slims on 08/27/07, 02:44:14 AM
This is my first post, but I believe I should be elevated to legend status immediately.  I believe I am the only dee-nee member that can boast this following honor. Contrary to the belief of Gantry, Rob Wilfong does not have an imaginary son named Rob jr, but he infact has a real son. I will not divulge his name since I have not been given permission by him to do so, but in the spring of 98 during the scramble of 2 varsity baseball teams competing for a CIF league championship, I hit a homerun to left center field off of Wilfong's son.

Im looking forward to being an active member here, maybe play some of you online, or at the 2008 event in los angeles.

Welcome Slims!  Did Wilfong's son play in the minors or in college?

Unfortunately, no he didnt. He was a great pitcher and easily could have hacked college ball, but I just think he was content going to college to learn rather than play ball.

Wilfongs son was/is good people.

I have a picture with Darrel Evans after a spring training practice. Evans was in uniform and I had my shirt off. He was my hitting instructor for a year.
Could it be that my coolness level can elevate.
