Title: 3/22/04
Post by: chubbrock on 03/22/04, 06:00:48 PM
Mclane, your a good man for calling into work.  Gives me the honor of coming over and ruining your day off by kicking your ass in couple games.  WOOO!  MMM MMM Bitch!

The action should start in a few hours.  We'll keep you posted.  After all this shit talking, I'll probably get spanked now.

I get that syrup in me, and I get all antsy in my pantsy.

I'm looking for chubbs to redeem himself from last time.  Was it a loss to Houston with the All-Stars?

WOOO!!!

Victory was mine.  Won the first 2 out of 3, 3 of 5, and 4 of 7.  Some interesting matchups.  My greatest victory was beating him as AM while I was DT.  Normally I'm ok with DT, but I was hitting the shit out of everything.  8 bombs to his 6.  It was a slobberknocker.

Yes, I killed him with Houston while he was National.  Bitch!

Sadly, I lost 4 out of 7 last night.  Just couldn't get my shit together.  My pitching was dominant at times, but pretty inconsistent.  I made half a dozen fielding errors and my hitting was mediocre at best.  Chubbs won the battle but I'd say I'm still winning the war.
-side note:  this was our first time playing drunken RBI in about a month.  We both fell off the wagon.

"Is it off the wagon?  I always thought it was back on the wagon?"

Craig keeps saying we didn't fall of the wagon.  We jumped off at a full sprint.

Is it "I almost bought the farm" or "I almost sold the farm"?  And what the hell does that mean?

"Bought the farm" means "died".  I have no idea why - maybe there was a hefty insurance policy or something.
